This should never be the case because remember, tattoos are permanently inked to your body.

Good news for people who are getting exhausted already from searching for different kinds of tattoo designs and cannot find the perfect one. looking for a marvelous tattoo style is effortless with the assistance of a tattoo finder. It’s a tool that will definitely assist you in catching a high quality tattoo. These tools are usually part of tattoo galleries. These are for expert tattoo artists and are usually available from paid tattoo sites. you will be astounded at the huge amount of exceptional tattoo designs that can be found on these kinds of websites.

Usually, you will be required to pay a small fee to access these tattoo finders. World’s best tattoo artists come to NZ

All that is hot and hip about urban street culture will be on show at new Zealand's International Tattoo and Art Expo this month, including the world's best tattoo and graffiti artists, along with Mixed Marshall Arts (MMA) and Muay Thai, musicians and tattoo enthusiasts Tiki Taane and I am Giant, and a chance to see the international debut of the new Zealand Roller Derby team.

After the success of the 2011 Expo at Claudeland's Event Centre in Hamilton, which was attended by thousands, 2012 is looking even bigger and better. Tattoo artists from the USA, Norway, England, Russia, Japan, China, South Africa and Australia, will be at the Expo along with some of the best tattoo artists from new Zealand. They'll all be showcasing their art and offering Kiwis the chance to be tattooed by some of the world's most sought-after tattooists.

Watch as new Zealand-based world body painting champion Yolanda Bertram paints her live subject into the background – literally – by making them appear to be part of the wall behind them.

Expo visitors will also be able to watch Australian-based, blood painter Dr Rev in action when he paints live using his own blood to create dynamic art pieces that have attracted huge global attention.

Another must-see feature of the weekend-long Expo will be the Miss Tattoo NZ competition, which will be judged by award-winning tattooist and personality Nadine Bryant, aerialist extraordinaire Venus Starr and Tony Romel, new York based editor of Tattoo Society magazine.

International Tattoo and Art Expo organizer Chris Preece said the Expo will showcase the best local and international tattoo talent, as well as uniting the exciting world of urban street culture under one roof.

“This is one of those rare chances for the public to experience some of the best tattooing talent there is, and see why urban street culture has taken the world by storm,” Mr Preece said. “Many of the exhibiting tattoo artists are booked for months in advance internationally, so it's also a golden opportunity to be tattooed by some of the best around, or just come and watch them at work.”

Half Sleeve Tattoos For Men: What Are They?

Typically, half sleeve tattoos for men describe tattoos which are completely wrapped around the upper arm beginning from the shoulder to the elbow. however, these would also refer to the lower arm with the tattoo covering the whole area from the elbow area to the wrist. Generally speaking, there are two various ways that tattoo artists will design half sleeve tattoos for men. these include preplanning the whole tattoo from scratch and connecting the existing tattoos in order to create a new one.  the preplanning method takes a lot of patience to result to a unique and meaningful piece which will cover half of the arm properly.  But this is usually the choice of plenty of people as they have more control over the end result.

On the other hand, connecting the individual designs of half sleeve tattoos for men along with the use of background is the process is normally used by persons who are searching for new and larger tattoos than the ones that are present.  This method is also a remarkable way of concealing a satisfactory piece or one that the wearer will no longer want to highlight as a single design. half sleeve tattoos for men have become popular as many people are already interested in the art of tattooing and as the society has turned out to be more tolerant to tattoos in public.

Half sleeve tattoos for men are fantastic choices for those who are not hesitant to expose their body art and would like to show distinction in their tattoos. Since the area is a part of the body which is normally exposed and somewhat difficult to cover up, you have to take careful considerations  when picking out the design you like from the numerous designs of  half sleeve tattoos for men. some of the designs for the half sleeve tattoos are Celtic cross, tribal, floral and Japanese.

Backgrounds for half sleeve tattoos for men are frequently used to link up separate tattoo designs together or perhaps to fill in the spaces surrounding a solitary image in order to form authentic half sleeve tattoos. some of the backgrounds used include wind, swirls, smoke and flames. But it is not unusual to utilize a combination of backgrounds at once to make a more fascinating design of the tattoo.  It is generally recommended that when you create designs for the half sleeve tattoos for men, you need to have a specific theme in mind so that all of the images will be able to flow in sync in a natural manner. these tattoos will ultimately provide the wearer with wonderful sense of pride and confidence in the body art.

Tattoo artists display their outside-the-shop work at Santa Cruz gallery

SANTA CRUZ — Usually, when Hudge does a piece of art, he does what somebody else wants. he gets one shot and he has almost no margin for error.

That’s because, as a tattoo artist and owner of F-U Tattoo in Santa Cruz, most of his art stays permanently on someone’s skin.

The tiny stars on a woman’s bikini line, he said, are the most stressful.

“It’s got to be perfect,” he said, “or it’s wrong.”

Hudge, 40, and the other tattoo artists at his shop, however, want the world to know that they do art outside the shop, too, and off the human body. so all this month they will be displaying their paintings — acrylics on board, gouache on paper and more — in Meeting of the Minds, a show at the Felix Kulpa Gallery and Sculpture Garden downtown.

The shop’s other featured artists are Amanda Payne, Nick Vargas, Derek Pratt and Ron Hendrix.

My paintings are about as far away from tattooing as I can get,” Hudge said, “but obviously they’re still influenced by tattoo imagery.”

And though much of the art on display is also inspired by the folk art that inspires some tattoo art, the F-U Tattoo artists’ works are still a break away from the hard lines they buzz into skin at the shop.

Vargas, for instance, has a series of six paintings inspired by his children or children’s stories. a couple of his paintings are gouache on paper and feature the Gingerbread Man or Humpty Dumpty riding a beetle.

“Tattooing is a job,” the 15-year tattoo artist Vargas said. “Most of the time it doesn’t feel like a job, but still it’s a job. This is not.”

Though the 34-year-old Vargas said he and other tattoo artists sometimes get to tattoo what they want on clients, most of the time they’re inking other people’s ideas.

“Whereas painting we can do our own ideas,” he said. “It’s forgiving, too. you can mess up painting, but you can’t mess up tattooing somebody.”

Pratt, the shop manager, paints science fiction and fantasy illustration. though he is still learning tattooing, he said the discipline’s line-oriented style has influenced his work in the two years he’s been with F-U Tattoo.

“I’m definitely not as loose with my art as I was before working in the tattoo shop,” he said, “and that’s neither good nor bad.”

Hudge’s paintings are perhaps the closest to resembling tattoo art. They are acrylics on board and feature brightly colored dragons and other fantastical creatures.

But the strong influence is understandable.

Hudge has done tattoos for more than 20 years. the Santa Cruz native started after moving to Hawaii right out of high school.

At the time he didn’t know a person could even make a living doing tattoos, but a friend and fellow surfer who eventually landed in prison told him to go back to California, get away from the trouble that surrounded him on the islands and learn the trade.

Hudge came back and told his parents his plans. both were artists, “so they didn’t freak out when I was like, I want to be an artist for a living,’” he said.

After doing tattoos in different parts of the country and world and working for years at shops around town, Hudge opened F-U Tattoo eight years ago with fellow artist Miki.

F-U Tattoo caters to locals, Hudge said, and steers away from creating a mass-appeal image or vibe just to bring in more money.

“The best way to explain it is we get Yelp reviews all the time and most of them are great,” he said. “But the ones that are bad, 99 percent of them never even made it through the door. They get pissed off before the tattoo even starts.”

As for which is more rewarding: the tattooing or the painting?

“I haven’t really sold any big, expensive, heavy watershed paintings yet,” Hudge said. “So maybe you need to ask me again when I sell a $2,500 painting.”
