Maori Tattoo Designs – Uncovering the Quality Artwork
Posted by Metro in Uncategorized on February 23, 2012

Maori tattoo designs are always a going to be a great choice. With that said, finding the truly superb artwork for this style on the web can be quite impossible. So many men and women are spending their time at low end galleries that have nine years old artwork that is as generic as it gets. Here is why that happens, along with simple tips to get right past it while finding the great Maori tattoo designs on the net.
Let’s start things off by talking briefly about search engines and finding tattoos. I assume you are like 95% of the people out there who look for tattoos, which means you are using them to find the good Maori tattoo designs out there. This is precisely where everything seems to go wrong. All that tends to pull up in these search results are the low end galleries that have a bunch of cookie cutter tattoos to choose from.
That’s not even the worst part of it, though.
It seems like a trend, because a lot of these galleries are putting up images that weren’t even meant to be used as real tattoos It’s a big deal, but these places don’t really care. the only thing they really care about is packing their websites with more and more artwork. who cares if half of the images they put up are not truly artwork for real tattoos.
I will tell you why you should care. It’s because people will pick these random images and run to go get them tattooed. Little do they know that it probably won’t come out looking anywhere near as good as it looked on paper. Those are not Maori tattoo designs you want to settle for. you want clean, crisp Maori tattoo designs that were drawn precisely the way tattoos need to be drawn.
Ok, enough of that depressing stuff. Here’s how to find tons of fresh Maori tattoo designs and the galleries that have them.
Since search engines are the #1 way to find any sort of websites n the web, most people don’t know of another option. a good alternative for finding great galleries happens to be internet forums. why forums? because tattoos are a huge subject in a lot of the bigger forums out there. since it’s such a big topic, you can be sure that hundreds of people are posting the links that they have found to the hidden galleries they have uncovered. you can find great Maori tattoo designs this way and thousands and thousands of other styles that you have been bypassing while using that traditional way of searching for them.
It’s a simple way to find the truly great Maori tattoo designs that you want and I hope that it at least helps you out a little bit on your journey.

Rihanna Buys $160,000 Marilyn Monroe Artwork Made Of Swarovski Crystals

If you haven’t been clued into the style world of Rihanna lately, let’s just say you have a LOT of catching up to do. First of all, our multifaceted gal just landed a fashion reality show that will air in the U.K. this summer (no word on whether we’ll get it stateside), and she also acquired a new “Thug Life” tattoo. It seems like she’s truly enjoying her adopted hometown of Los Angeles too, as she’s taken to attending Lakers games and Cirque du Soliel shows wearing American flag T-shirts and head-to-toe leather. It’s also been reported that she’s currently zhuzing up her L.A. pad and recently commissioned a $160,000 Marilyn Monroe portrait made entirely of Swarovski crystals. Created by U.K. artist Claire Milner especially for Ri-Ri, the art piece took four months to finish, measures 5 by 5 feet, is covered in 65,000 crystals, and weighs 182 pounds. Let’s discuss, shall we?
We did a little research on artist Claire Milner and found that she is a former graphic designer and freelance illustrator based in lovely York, England, who creates large-scale mosaic pieces “with a bright, naïve quality.” She currently works in celebrity portraiture and sometimes sneaks text into the artwork as a sort of subliminal messaging bonus. She’s also a member of BAMM (no relation to Emeril Lagasse), better known as the British Association for Modern Mosaic and, apparently, has clients that include private collectors, corporations, and, well, RIHANNA. It seems as if she’s particularly proud of this Marilyn piece, as it looks to have been a painstaking accomplishment, and she even went so far as to show how it might appear in a pretend version of Ri’s house.
Milner has created other celeb crystal pieces in the likenesses of David Beckham and President Barack Obama, and it makes us wonder who her next celebrity subject might be. Perhaps Rihanna herself? Wait, no, she’s done that already in the form of a mixed-media portrait entitled “Contemplating Rhianna” complete with quotes, song lyrics, and some impressive mosaic vajazzling. Perhaps this is where Ri first discovered Claire Milner? Either way, this Rihanna portrait can adorn your wall for only $4,500.

Pictures of Tattoos – An Amazing Way to Get Ideas
Posted by Metro in Uncategorized on February 17, 2012
Looking through pictures of tattoos is an astounding ways to get ideas. it gets your creative juices flowing, which is an important part of selecting the perfect design for yourself. you need to make sure you’re actually seeing great artwork, though, because you can’t really get much out of a bunch of generic tattoo art. Here’s how to ensure that you see real, crystal clear pictures of tattoos.
You can speed up the process a lot by getting an idea of what a gallery has within the first minute of stepping into their website. if the first couple of pages are loaded with nothing but cookie cutter pictures of tattoos, you should probably walk away from them, because that’s what you’ll see for the next hour. a lot of sites don’t care that their pages are stuffed with generic junk, which is a drastically growing problem on the net.
The way to tell if a website will be worth looking though is to do a random search and see what comes up. are there a lot of truly original designs to look at? are you seeing the same bland stuff as the last place? Also, look at the top of the website and see if they have a message board. these little places are so valuable, because many of them are loaded with people sharing their thoughts and opinions. you can even find new galleries that have pictures of tattoos, because people always tend to talk about the great galleries they’ve found recently.
Last but not least, a good gallery is not afraid to tell their visitors where they get their pictures of tattoos. if they don’t, you can assume that they’re just stealing any generic stuff they can from around the web, just so they can fill their database. if they do let you know, that’s a very good sign, because this means that real artists are probably sending in their picture galleries. it also means that other people are sending in picture galleries of their own tats, which is a great way to get ideas.
Looking at pictures of tattoos is the first real step toward making your own choices, so it should never be a step you bypass.

Free Tattoo Designs – Should You Consider One?
Posted by Metro in Uncategorized on February 4, 2012
When people talk about free tattoo designs they are usually referring to artwork found on a website. Now many websites charge a fee to access their tattoo designs or offer them on a subscription basis. These are usually created by paid artists. Other websites however, have tattoo concepts that are available completely free of charge. These too are often created by professional artists who have chosen to make these particular designs available for the general public, or sometimes they are created by talented amateurs.
Although you should exercise care when choosing a tattoo design, you should not assume that free designs are automatically inferior to a design you might find in a tattoo parlor or on a fee-based tattoo website. after all, the best tattoo is the one that makes you happy now and for years to come. while it is true that some free tattoo websites have poor designs, there are also some that have amazing designs that you don’t have to pay to see. With so many different choices available, it is definitely worth while to do a little research.
A tattoo is something you will have for the rest of your life, so getting one is not something to be taken lightly. you should take your time, and not allow yourself to be rushed or pressured into making a choice. This means that you shouldn’t choose the first design you see, free or otherwise. It’s not like pay sites are going to offer you some kind of money back guarantee if you are not happy with your tattoo. The decision and responsibility are all yours, so choose wisely.
I would recommend starting your search for a tattoo design with free websites, especially if this is your first tattoo. it doesn’t cost you anything and you are not committed to any decisions. Browse free tattoo designs to get ideas of what you like and don’t like. then maybe pay to view designs on other websites, if you wish. you can use this information later to choose a tattoo at a parlor. you just might find a free tattoo that is perfect for you, or maybe you will come up with great idea for an original design, based on something you’ve seen.
Free tattoo designs are helpful, particularly for beginners, to determine the kinds of inked artwork that will work best for a specific individual. There are so many different categories and styles to choose from. The perfect tattoo for you is probably something that has not even occurred to you yet. This is why it is so important to remember that you should not choose the first design you like whether it was free or not. Looking at as much artwork as you can before choosing a tattoo will help ensure that you do not regret your decision later.
